You'll reach the Gacka in about 40 minutes if You drive from the coast (Senj) via Vratnik or if your'e coming from the direction of Plitvice lakes via the slopes of Plješevica and Kapela. Gacka is one of the oldest Croatian regions that was probbably named after the river.
