Dear anglers,

please welcome to flyfishing river No. 1 in Europe and enjoy your flyfishing experience. From March till end of October Gacka is awaiting for you.

Indigenous Gacka brown trout is unique trout in flyfishing terminology (declared by Croatian scientists from Rudjer Boskovic Institute) which you can catch only in this beautiful river. Also you can catch rainbow trout or grayling.

1. Fishing season on river Gacka and tributary: 01th March - 30th October.

2. Fishing season at Grayling revir: 15th May – 31st December (Tonković source – Church of St. Franjo).
3. Fishing is forbiden in Karlo's channel(Otočac) from Vivoze bridge to Poljica tunel.

Visit us in Furstenfeldbruck - Germany 09th and 10th of April 2011

Representatives of river Gacka will visit flyfishing exhibition in Furstenfeldbruck (near Munchen) Germany.

A stand for visitors will be opened 09th and 10th of April 2011 from 08 a.m. - 18 p.m. Visit as at 6^th International Experience the World of Fly Fishing and ask about best flies for river Gacka, how to catch, when to catch and hear the answers from our best flyfisherman - Tomo Ladisic.

River Gacka - again on the world map of fly fishermans destinations

One of the world's best fly casters presented his knowledge on river Gacka. Paul Arden was special guest on fly fishing school which took place on Gacka 05. June 2010. "I'm second time on Gacka in past two weeks and I will be your regular guest. Gacka is wonderfull, so quiet and powerfull river." - said Paul Arden.
